The product is light yellow to yellow transparent liquid, and it can form highly-viscosity, well-heat stability gel body with water soluble natural plant jelly which contains maleinoid form lactic acid and its modified product under alkaline condition through cross linking. In addition, the products have a good performance to delay the cross-linking and a relatively wide scope of cross-linking rate.
